Waikato District Health Board Facility Developments
The Waikato District Health Board is currently undergoing a large and complex healthcare facilities and infrastructure redevelopment (SCR) project. WDHB is nearly two years and one third of the way into the project by time dollars spent and committed. The next building project about to commence is the 3 year Waikato Clinical Centre with its over NZ$110M budget and 30000m3 of floor space. Following this is a proposal for a 110 bed ward for Older Persons Services. A proposal is also being considered for the
demolition of the Smith ward and to commence the planning of the first of several new ward buildings.
