The 71st Annual conference of the NZIHE was held on Thursday and Friday last week inRydges Hotel in Wellington.
Highlights included an opening address by Darren Douglas, from The Ministry of Health, on the Digital Health Strategy being worked on by the MOH.
Dr Swee Tan followed up on his 2011 conference presentation with an update on the exciting progress at the Gillies McIndoe Research Institute, which he heads, into a potential cure for cancer.
You could have heard a pin drop in the room as the audience hung on his every word.
The conference concluded with a lively annual dinner, where folks danced the night away to the awesomw sound of local group, the Soul Minerz.
